The Musée des Maisons Comtoises is hosting Guillaume Millot, a master weaver and textile artist, for a workshop to introduce participants to tapestry weaving.

During this workshop, participants will be introduced to contemporary tapestry on a loom—an opportunity to discover the basics of artistic tapestry and, in particular, to experiment with different textures and color combinations by weaving abstract or figurative designs.

Founder of the workshop Tissage de Séquanie, he explores and reinvents ancestral techniques from all five continents, blending traditional craftsmanship, innovation, and contemporary design. His work draws deep inspiration from nature, landscapes, and encounters, giving rise to unique textile pieces that blend elegance, texture, and artistic expression.

Workshop fee: 40 € (please bring a check or cash to pay for the workshop) + 6 € for museum admission
