Sunday, October 30

La soupe au loup - Conte musical à trois voix (conteur, comédien et musicien)
Cie l'herbe d'or (86)
At 11am (duration 45 minutes), from 3 years
What if all those stories about the wolf weren't true? What if the wolf ended up eating pebble soup while singing the blues? And if we helped the little pigs build their house, we'd save them just by singing.

Paroles de Poucet - Conte musical à trois voix (conteur, comédien et musicien)
Cie l'herbe d'or (86)
At 3pm (duration 45 minutes), ages 5 and up
It's the story of a little boy, and all sorts of scary adventures happen to him. But it looks like there's also a little girl, and she wants to play. So there would be a forest, night, an ogre and some not very clever parents, but above all there would be songs, a harp, a hut made of chairs...

In the shadows of tree trunks, in the scent of moss, between the thousand-year-old fragments of legends and beliefs, are hidden creatures, monsters and gods, witnesses of an archaic memory. What if we were to open a door between their world and ours, so that the invisible could be revealed and offered up for a moment...
Outdoor show

le manege des p'tits bouchons

La lumière bleue - Contes de frissons
Nathalie Leone
Duration 1 hour, ages 5 and up
It all begins in the dark. Night. In the old days, there was no light in the countryside. So, at night, it was really all black, all black. It was a land of low trees and ponds, swamps. There, in the middle of the moors, lived a young shepherd, all alone, in a little hut. At night, the curtains moved. But the window was closed. And the shepherd wondered every night: why do the curtains move if the window is closed? And suddenly, one night, he saw a small blue light. It came closer, behind the window... He drew the curtain... The light was there, twinkling, it wanted to come in... What was it?
A rackchette? A female demon from India, who devours male children at night when they're alive? A troll out of her stone boat? Or a flambette, a little hairy old lady as big as a thimble?

Rowling's-Nightmare_CieNN 2

Perreault et les chemins de l'ogre - Théâtre d'objets based on the tales of Charles Perrault
Cie Acte 2 Théâtre (51)
At 11am and 3pm (duration 35 minutes), all ages 6 and up
They say a cat with boots turned his poor master into a prince. They say a man with blue fur and a cold heart collects dead women. An adaptation of Puss in Boots and the disquieting Bluebeard that will make you smile rather than shiver... maybe a little all the same.

Les mange cailloux - Storytelling and tabletop puppetry
Caribou d'Compagnie (21)
At 1:30 pm and 4 pm (duration 1 h15), all ages 6 and up
At the edge of a forest lived a family called the Mange-Cailloux. In the midst of "great deprivation", Poucet and his six brothers find themselves lost in the forest. An ancestral tale revisited with humor and poetry, a hymn to resourcefulness and childhood!
