In 2026, we’re bringing you a season that’s totally brick-filled!
“THE LITTLE WORLD OF SAMSOFY”
April 11 – October 27
Exhibition and installation by Samsofy
A French visual artist and photographer born in 1981, Samsofy began his career photographing extreme sports in urban settings.
Influenced by geek culture, his artistic approach now centers on the small yellow characters well-known to the general public.
He combines the techniques of photography, street art, model-making, and installation to convey his messages, which often blend politics, humor, and poetry.
In his microcosms, Samsofy plays with scale and materials to alter our perception of them.
“DISPATCHWORK”
May 1 – November 1
Jan Vormann’s Residency
The Franco-German artist Jan Vormann is internationally known for his poetic and playful work in public spaces. With his Dispatchwork project, he repurposes building blocks (such as Lego® bricks) to creatively “repair” damaged walls. By incorporating the marks of time left on the museum’s buildings, Jan Vormann will connect them to cities around the world.
Dispatchwork is not just a work by the artist: it is a global, participatory project—a true “multiplayer game”—where contributors add their own colorful patches to the walls, enriching a creative and spontaneous community.
“COMTOIS FARMHOUSES: A BUILDING SET”
April 4 – November 1
Come admire the seven scale models of Franche-Comté dwellings designed and built by Unibrik. Starting April 30, an exhibition design by artist Julie Mélin, in partnership with the Juste ici association, will complement the models.
ON YOUR BRICKS… GET SET… BUILD!
The museum is issuing a challenge to all fans of brick-building games. Imagine and build your farm of the future. Whether it’s realistic or set in a completely imaginary world, your model will be on display at the museum until the end of the season and may be awarded a prize by our jury of experts. But rest assured—in this challenge, there will be no losers!
