Lime-hemp plaster is used as a thermal regulator, primarily indoors, on any properly prepared surface. This plaster is particularly well-suited for renovating older buildings to even out uneven surfaces or to counteract the cold sensation caused by solid exterior walls.
The workshop includes a theoretical component and a practical component:
– theoretical component: What materials, surfaces, tools, and preparations are used for insulation?
– practical component: Applying a lime-hemp plaster using the “jeté” and “banché” techniques on the museum’s practice wall

Workshop fee: €60 to be paid to the provider + a reduced €6 admission fee to the museum
Class size: 5 to 10 participants
Lunch: Bring your own lunch or eat at the on-site brasserie—your choice
