Come and discover insulation techniques with Olivier BLANCHARD, from "Badigeons et Cie"!
Lime/hemp rendering is used as a thermal corrector, mainly indoors, on all properly prepared supports. It is particularly suitable for renovating old buildings, to homogenize a heterogeneous support or to reduce the sensation of cold given by solid exterior walls.
The course comprises a theoretical and a practical part:
- Theoretical part: what materials, supports, tools and preparations are used for insulation?
- practical part: application of lime-hemp rendering using the "jeté" and "banché" techniques on the school wall of the museum
Course fee: 60€ to be paid to the provider + reduced rate of 6€ for admission to the museum
Capacity: 5 to 10 participants
Lunch: choice of packed lunch or brasserie on site
