The "Contes du Bois d'En Haut" are rooted in the imaginary world of the Huelgoat Forest in Brittany's Monts d'Arrée. The Faou, a fairy-like creature of vegetation, comes to life, carrying between its roots the gondola on which Orin, the Guardian of Huelgoat, travels, accompanied by the musical procession of representatives of the various Fairy Peoples.
