Alpine Bestiary

Driftwood, the raw material for the carousel, is wood cast off by nature. Carried from streams to rivers and from rivers to the Rhône, these tons of “driftwood”—weathered by a long stay in the water—end up on the shores of Lake Geneva. The carousel’s drive system relies solely on human power; the only “fuel” is muscle power! The parents’ swing gets the whole family involved. Even a six-month-old baby has a place, snuggled in the Yeti’s reassuring paw…

From 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Children ages 6 months to 6 years on the carousel and ages 18 to 99 on the seesaw • Outdoor carousel – Limited seating
