Sound Vigil – an immersive soundscape listening session, by Aurélien Bertini, Olivier Toulemonde, and Chloé Truchon

Who said that at night, the countryside is enveloped in silence?

This evening event is an invitation to collectively listen to the sounds of the night. Within an immersive installation featuring eight speakers, listeners will discover sound works selected and broadcast live by the Magnétophonie association.

The program will feature documentaries, radio dramas, and soundscapes, each of which explores a different facet of the world of nighttime sounds.

It will explore silence, daydreams, invisible rustling and creaking sounds, the noisy awakening of nocturnal animals, and the gentle unease of darkness.
