The traveling musical tour “To the Rhythm of the Horse” bythe ensemble Les Timbres is making a stop at the Musée des Maisons Comtoises!
3:00 p.m. – Philosophical Reflection: “Music?” & “Appeaux” Gathering
Philosophical reflection with philosopher Simon Wolfs; join us for a moment of reflection on music: Does music flow in the murmur of a stream or in the courtship display of birds? To what extent is it intentional?
Duration: 45 minutes • included with admission • reservations recommended
"Bird Calls" Workshop with flutist Annie Ploquin-Rignol: Expand your thinking through sensory experience as you discover bird calls—will you be able to identify which birds they represent? Children—and their parents just as much—love this playful moment when a person whistles so beautifully that you think they’re about to take flight.
6:00 p.m. – Concert: *L’Hirondelle et les Petits oiseaux*
Blending finesse and poetry, with a touch of humor, the ensemble Les Timbres presents a program inspired by the world of birds. Featuring three artists who have received numerous accolades from the international press (Yoko Kawakubo on violin, Myriam Rignol on viola da gamba, and Julien Wolfs on harpsichord), come immerse yourself in the sounds of these instruments and lose track of time and place as you follow the songs of swallows, turtledoves, and nightingales.
Duration: 1 hour • Free admission starting at 5:30 p.m. • Reservations recommended
