The Art of Tataki Zomé: When Nature Leaves Its Mark!

Have you heard of Tataki Zomé? This ancient and fascinating art involves pounding fresh plants to transfer their natural pigments onto fabric. It’s a technique that’s relaxing, fun, and eco-friendly—one that captures the spirit of gardens.
Your creative adventure will begin with an inspiring stroll through the museum’s park. Accompanied by your instructor, Carole LAMIELLE from SOBRITERRA, you’ll learn to identify “dye plants” (those that provide color) before getting started.
After a little practice, you’ll know how to stamp accurately to reveal the shapes and colors of the leaves and flowers. You’ll then create a unique, botanical design on a small bag and an elegant cotton tote bag, both of which you’ll take home with you.

Workshop fee: 35 € to be paid to the provider + a reduced museum admission fee of 6€.
Registration is available on-site at the museum reception desk until Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m.

Ages 7 and up (accompanied by an adult) or ages 10 and up on their own
Only one artwork per pair will be created. If the adult accompanying the child wishes to create their own artwork, two workshop sessions at 35 € each must be paid to the service provider.
