Astronomy evening and night under the stars at the museum

Spend an evening admiring the starry skies free from light pollution, or taking part in a special film session in the museum grounds!
Free admission.

Astronomical evening from 8 p.m. to midnight

Conference "Strolling through the sky's most beautiful nebulae" from 8 to 9 p.m.

From diffuse nebulae to planetary nebulae and everything in between, you'll learn all about these often spectacular clouds of gas and dust.

Skywatching from 9 p.m. to midnight

Accompanied by members of the Association Astronomique de Franche-Comté, let us guide you through the summer sky. Perhaps the Lyra Nebula, the Hercules Cluster or Dumbell M27 mean nothing to you? Come and put your eye to the eyepiece of a telescope to discover these stars.
New this year, an augmented vision telescope, the Evscope2 from Unistellar, will give you direct access to images of the deep sky from your smartphone. All you need to do is download the "Unistellar" application and connect to the Wifi network that evening.

In partnership with the Association astronomique de Franche-Comté.

Night under the stars

Why not extend your astronomical evening by spending the night at the Museum? Pitch your tent or simply lay your mattress on the ground to enjoy the starry sky for even longer (free, registration required).

Breakfast available (€7).
