Basketry is an ancestral craft, the art of weaving plants together to make objects such as baskets.
Nicolas BERG, the museum's cultural mediator, invites you to familiarize yourself with this craft by making an Œil de Dieu basket, a type of basket which is affordable even for beginners, and which will delight even the most experienced.
The basket, with its rounded bottom, is made from wild plants that are abundant in our region.
You can use it for shopping, harvesting or storage.
All materials required for the workshop are provided on site.
Bring suitable clothing, as basketry brings you into direct contact with plants that can be messy.
Workshop fee: €30

From 14 years of age.
Lunch: choice of packed lunch or on-site brasserie.
