Architecture Days

The museum presents an exhibition on the animal shelter construction project carried out in partnership with the École Nationale d'Architecture de Lyon and the Lycée du Bois de Mouchard, with the support of the DRAC Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and the Conseil Régional de l'Ordre des Architectes. The exhibition will be set up in the park, close to the first of the four shelters to be built as part of the project.
In parallel, events and guided tours related to architecture will be offered. The theme of the 2022 edition, "Architectures à habiter", is totally in keeping with the spirit of the Museum and the way vernacular architecture is presented here. All the farmhouses brought back to the Museum bear witness to the common sense implemented by their builders: from the orientation of the house to the distribution of the various spaces to the cohabitation with livestock, everything was thought out in terms of economy and optimizing the comfort of the inhabitants.
Finally, on Sunday October 16, the Museum will welcome Nicolas Descourvières for an introduction to stone-cutting.
