FLOWER FESTIVAL AT L'ALVÉOLE

Come (re)discover the wonderful world of bees and other pollinating insects. Take a closer look at how a beehive works and savor its delicious products. Just like a bee, wander at your leisure through the demonstrations and activities for all ages!

– Honey Extraction – 9:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

– Making traditional beeswax candles – 8:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.

– Introduction to Encaustic Painting – 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

– Presentation of the glass-enclosed wild beehive at the Recouvrance Farm – 8:30–10:30 a.m.

– Making and tasting gingerbread made with the museum’s honey – 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

– Exhibition and sales booths will offer visitors the chance to discover various bee products—honey, royal jelly, and other specialties—as well as books, educational and glass-fronted beehives, and fun activities – All morning (closing at 2 p.m. due to a red heat wave alert)

Fracarnaüm Show

A unique, traveling musical performance produced by Madiba Dharma (a non-profit music label) and supported by the Doubs Department

Marie-Céline Jules and Frédéric Aubry merge their musical worlds and their vibrant imaginations for a journey filled with detours and surprising encounters. A shared passion brings them together: the cello.
Two cellos, electronic instruments, and their voices take you on a journey through stories and landscapes. 
As their bows glide and their fingers tap, they reveal hidden connections between pop, contemporary music, classical, and more…
More than just a musical performance, Fracarnaüm is a traveling project that invites residents to embark on a musical adventure and a collective social experience. It’s already been two years since Marie-Céline and Frédéric embarked on this poetic—and slightly zany—musical project.
The duo travels the roads accompanied by a caravan that serves as both the stage and the set for their musical show.
Audience members are invited to sway and dance to original tunes sprinkled with familiar elements from chanson, waltz, jazz, and electronic music, all performed by the duo.
