Since September 2021, pupils from the Lycée du Bois de Mouchard and students from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Lyon have been working together on a project to design and build animal shelters for the Musée des Maisons Comtoises.
Four of the twelve shelter projects imagined by the students were selected by a jury to be manufactured and installed on the museum site. After an initial shelter for goats, which was erected in June 2022, 2nd-year BTS wood construction students from the Lycée du Bois in Mouchard are currently building the framework for the "Loge", a shelter for the Museum's Comtois horse. Assembly of the framework on the museum site will take place during the week of April 24, 2023.
